"When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy"
- Rumi

My yoga practice has emerged out of a deep background in dance and fitness- and the need to find spiritual roots. You might say it’s the consequence of my nomadic lifestyle as I moved from city to city (and sometimes country to country), first with my parents and later with my husband. I started dancing in New Mexico at age four, and went on to study and perform in France, Florida, Boston, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, the list goes on. Dance naturally led me to fitness which I have taught in its many forms throughout the US and Europe, including an 8 year stint as fitness director of one of the largest YMCA’s in California. It was there that I observed the many benefits of yoga. And I was hooked. I began extensive training and ultimately founded a yoga program, which now serves over 600 students. You might say this is where my yoga journey truly began. Today I’m a certified Yoga Therapist and have completed advanced studies at Loyola Marymount University. I work with a wide range of private clients, and get most of my referrals through physicians and word of mouth. I teach group classes on the west side of Los Angeles, and have developed a specialized yoga program for Veterans at the main VA facility on Wilshire Blvd. Special thanks goes out to all my teachers along the path and to my students who inspire me every day.
